Dancing Under the Faerie Moon by Amy L. Burns

acrylic on 18" x 36" x 1.5" gallery stretched canvas Originally, I had painted most of the surface with vibrant colors. I didn't like what I was seeing, so set it aside for a few days and in a moment of inspiration just started putting various blues on the canvas. I added some white, then greens, and the next thing I knew, this piece was alive. It was magical. You can still see bits of yellow peeking out from the first attempt at creation. I've added additional photos below for alternate angles and detail. Please note the edges of the canvas are painted black. The piece is ready to hang - no framing required.
