Over 99 Balloons
Last week, there was an adorable little girl sitting in front of me on the bus traveling to Sea World with her father.
She was looking out the window, in wonder, at all the shops passing by, the bustling activity, the signs. She suddenly exclaimed - "Daddy! They have over 99 balloons!" In her excitement, she re-phrased and repeated this brilliant discovery several times.
What she had seen was the McDonald's sign, saying Over 99 Billion Served. Her father didn't bother to correct her. Instead, he allowed her to bask in the joy and excitement of "over 99 balloons."
Did it matter that there were no balloons? I don't think so. What matters is that we are each able to experience this world as a brilliant and beautiful place, if we choose to. What are you excited about? What are you choosing to see, to create for yourself, to manifest?
PS. Each day, every place you visit (including your home and your heart) there are over 99 balloons, just for you.Labels: FunStuff

Conversations with God
"Now, having seen the differences between where you are and where you want to be, begin to change--consciously change--your thoughts, words, and actions to match your grandest vision."

Permission
This month’s theme Tele-Gathering theme was “permission,” and our inquiry was “What does it mean to give yourself permission?” Although many ideas came up, such as acceptance, allowing, acknowledgement, and validating, it was agreed that giving oneself permission really boils down to a feeling or a “sense.”
Of course, the question that arose from this is “What does it feel like to give yourself permission?” Physically, I feel a sense of relief, release, and relaxation. My back relaxes, releasing all tension. Pain dissolves. I begin to experience enjoyable sensations in my hips, feet, shoulders. Mentally, the racing of my mind slows, and even stills. I feel a sensation of calm any worrying and anxiety just slip away – I have a deep knowing that I am safe. Emotionally, I get a bit giddy! I feel lighter, joyful, and filled with gratitude. YAY! Spiritually, I feel a deep sense of peace and connection.
So, I ask you to take a few minutes to journal, blog or email a friend answering these questions for yourself: What does it mean to give myself permission? What does it feel like to myself permission? What do I give myself permission to Be/Do/Have today?Labels: Exercises

I give myself permission to Be
I give myself permission to try on new beliefs. I give myself permission to connect with others.
I give myself permission to be gluttenous for a day. I give myself permission to be silly. I give myself permission to be light and fluffy. I give myself permission to be cute. I give myself permission to be relaxed. I give myself permission to be carefree (without cares / concerns). I give myself permission to be abundant. I give myself permission to be loved. I give myself permission to be known. I give myself permission to be compassionate. I give myself permission to be wildly successful with ease and effortlessness. I give myself permission to be involved. I give myself permission to be kind. I give myself permission to be friendly. I give myself permission to be enchanted. I give myself permission to be enchanting! I give myself permission to be magnical. I give myself permission to be powerful. I give myself permission to be beautiful. I give myself permission to be full-up. I give myself permission to be hungry. I give myself permission to be needed. I give myself permission to be needy (not necessarily in an annoying way). I give myself permission to be alive.Labels: Other
